Who We Are The Hight Fund For GDV is a registered Non-Profit 501 (c) (3) Organization located in Houston, Texas.  The fund was formed in 2006 by, and is under the direction of, the fund’s advisors (see link “Advisors to the Fund”).  The information contained within this website is intended for educational purposes only and should NOT be interpreted as professional veterinary advice. The advisors (among others) have generously donated cash, time and professional services to the fund.  The Advisors do not receive any compensation whatsoever.  Monies generated by the fund pays for printed materials, internet related expenses, educational material, financial assistance to pet care providers (Veterinarians, clinics, etc.) and other operating expenses.  Financial assistance relating to emergency treatment for GDV is paid directly to the licensed clinic or Veterinarian; payment is NOT made to the pet owner.  The fund has no paid employees and is totally dependant on donations for all operational expenses.
